Contraception

Now that your family is exactly the size you want, it is important to determine your plan to keep it that way.  Today there are many forms of effective birth control that can help you prevent an unwanted pregnancy.  For women with a strong desire to never become pregnant, permanent sterilization is a great option. Once performed, it has the lowest likelihood of failure which gives many women a great sense of relief.  For women interested in less permanent methods,  Long Acting Reversible Contraceptive methods (known as LARC) are often recommended because they are extremely effective and often require less regular attention.  All forms of birth control are available and appropriate to prevent pregnancy. It is up to you to decide which best suits your needs and lifestyle.
